Easter Seals Wisconsin Camps have numerous trails through our 400 acres, many are paved and offer breathtaking views of our wildlife and forests. During the summer our staff with nature expertise leads many activities through the woods along with posts that describe different species of trees and other nature elements of our land.
Arts and Crafts offers campers the opportunity to express themselves. Craft sessions stress the use of creative media in a nature-based environment to give campers the opportunity to use their own ideas to create projects that they can take home. Activities may range from sand painting to scrap booking to squirt gun painting. The variety is endless.

Just about every evening during the summer we have a toasty camp fire going where campers and counselors enjoy telling stories and singing songs. What would a campfire be without roasting marshmallows or a great treat?

Camp may not have it's own lake but that does not stop us from enjoying the many lakes and rivers that surround our camp and are part of the beauty that is the Wisconsin Dells. Canoeing is offered to all campers, regardless of their ability levels. Staff who accompany campers on this trip are knowledgeable of Easter Seals’ canoe procedures and are accompanied by individuals certified in canoe rescue procedures, as well as a lifeguard.

The climbing tower consists of 4 climbing walls, a come-along system (used for individuals who don't have the body control to climb) and a zip line. Campers with counselor assistance get to climb the tower and after that great achievement are handsomely rewarded by getting to fly through the air down our amazing zip line.

Our thrilling high ropes course, towering 35 feet above the ground, will give you the opportunity to test your limits. Any campers that have the ability to walk through the course can challenge themselves by moving through each obstacle and not letting anything get in their way
Our exciting zip line gives everyone the chance to emulate their favorite action hero. This zip line goes through our ravine. Anyone can participate in the travine, either in a regular harness or the chair harness.

For those who seek their fun closer to the ground, this surprisingly challenging course includes the initiatives activities. Initiatives are team-building activities designed to increase trust, communication and problem-solving among members of your group.

Swimming is often the most popular activity at both camps. In this program area, campers are able to participate in water activities while in a closely-supervised setting. Time spent in the pool can be fun and relaxing on a warm afternoon and is often time for counselors and campers to get to know each other. All campers can participate in this activity unless otherwise noted by the Camp Nurse or camper’s physician.

Sports and Games provide each camper an opportunity to participate in small and large group activities utilizing a variety of leisure skills. From large group games like basketball and kickball to board games, game shows, and parachute games – the possibilities are endless. These activities give campers the chance to develop a sense of self-awareness and good sportsmanship, which is easily modeled by the staff members they look up to.

Nature and the outdoors is the perfect place to improve on one’s own awareness of the world around them. Our program utilizes the outdoors to provide opportunities to connect with all aspects of our natural environment, and offer experiences that campers may not have readily available in their home programs.

This program area provides campers with the opportunity to express themselves through music, dance, and role-playing. Campers will utilize a variety of musical instruments, skit clothes and any other media they can find to create an experience they may not be able to have elsewhere.

Pontoon boating is offered to all campers, regardless of their ability levels. The campers who choose to participate in this activity will be able to enjoy the peace and quiet of being on a lake with peers and staff alike. All campers must be using a manual chair (which we typically provide) to transfer on and off the boat.
On our full accessibly pier campers can enjoy a favorite past time of fishing. All supplies are offered to campers including live bait. Staff assist campers in whatever capacity necessary to keep them involved in all aspects of fishing.

It would not be a trip to the Dells without some shopping in the Downtown Dells district. The Dells offer a variety of shops and fudge galore. Staff members assist with money management when necessary and provide support as needed.
When available, Camp Wawbeek may offer an on-site archery range where campers of all ability levels are able to participate in this fully-accessible program. Led by a staff certified in archery, campers will learn the basics of how to shoot a bow with the adaptations available to them.

All campers and staff participate in this activity unless otherwise noted by a physician or the Camp Nurse. Campers are able to sleep under the stars (or in the shelter/tents if necessary), and participate in counselor-led activities at their campsite during the evening hours. Campers and staff cook both supper and breakfast over the campfire.

Our amazing sensory at Respite Camp offers campers a getaway from all the commotion at camp. Many shapes, textures, and sensory items are affixed to the walls and objects in the room. The ceiling is covered in a special material with lights underneath to provide a cloud effect. A special attached room provides a soothing atmosphere with padded walls, glowing stars and lights. Did I mention there is an awesome swing in the middle of the room?

Camp offers several areas with playgrounds and swings for all abilities. Respite Camp is home to our newly built accessible playground with slides and activities galore. In addition Respite also houses our wooden train with cabooses that you can sit in and enjoy an imaginary trip through camp. We offer swings to all abilities, including our custom wheelchair swings.

During our weekends, we make use of our many rolling hills at camp. Campers of all abilities can enjoy bundling up and traveling down are gracious hills. You are sure to have a blast!
For nearly 80 years the Dells Boat Tours has provided a trip through the Upper Dells. The captain and his crew sing to campers, tell stories, point out areas of interest and always provide a couple of jokes. Wisconsin River that is home to towering sandstone cliffs — spectacular natural sculptures carved by wind, water and time, and shaped by the history and legends of Native Americans, traders and rivermen.
