Asperger's Sessions at Respite Camp

These sessions are for specifically designed for individuals with either Asperger Syndrome or high-functioning Autism.

During each session, two campers are paired with one trained staff member who will encourage positive social interactions and active participation in fun-filled activities. One-to-one pairing of a counselor with a camper is available as needed, and our menu is available on request to help plan for special diets.

Campers will experience a variety of activities, including swimming, creative arts, hiking, ropes courses, field trips to nearby Wisconsin Dells attractions, camping out under the stars, sharing fun around a camp fire, and other traditional camping activities.

Siblings ages 7-14 are welcome to attend with a camper anytime, or they may participate in our special session Spotlight on Siblings.

In addition to traditional camp activities that lend themselves to winter, these sessions can include sledding and cross-country skiing.
