Respite Camp for Siblings

Siblings ages 7-14 can accompany any Respite camper during any week-long or weekend session. For those who would like an opportunity to spend time with others living with someone with a disability, we recommend Spotlight on Siblings.

Spotlight on Siblings (ages 7-14)

This weekend program is devoted entirely to young people who face the special joys and challenges of having a sibling or parent with a disability. While traditional camping fun is the primary objective of this session, campers will also meet peers living in similar situations, discuss their feelings with others, and get advice on dealing with the unique stresses they may encounter. This fun, fast-paced weekend offers a variety of activities, discussion sessions and team-building challenges.
