Adult Sessions at Camp Wawbeek

The following sessions are designed for individuals with:

• physical disabilities (such as Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, etc.)
• little or no cognitive delay
• the ability to communicate their needs and interests, and independently make decisions.

For those with no physical disability and mild to moderate cognitive disability, Trailblazers sessions are specially designed to meet these needs.

Weekend Sessions (one staff person is paired with three campers)

Adult Leisure Weekend (Ages 18+) • March 13-15, 2009 • Fee $280

Campers will try all sorts of recreational activities in the Dells and surrounding communities, including bowling and bingo!

Summer Sessions (one staff person is paired with three campers)

Session I: Adults (Ages 18-40) • June 14-19, 2009 • Fee $695
Session II: Adults (Ages 18-40) • July 19-24, 2009 • Fee $695
Session III: Older Adults (Ages 40+) • July 26-31, 2009 • Fee $695

Come and spend the best week of your summer at Camp Wawbeek! Participate in a variety of activities with friends old and new. One moment you could be scrapbooking, the next playing bingo, and later you might be canoeing Mirror Lake!  This is a week to get away from it all, have fun outdoors, and meet some of the most fantastic people you will ever know!

Pioneer Camp (Ages 18 and up) •June 14-19, 2009 • Fee $695

This program is designed for the adventurous-at-heart. Pioneer campers take advantage of traditional camp experiences including canoeing, fishing, ropes course, cookouts, campfires and nature hikes. When you add in an element of adventure as campers spend an overnight at a state park hiking and sleeping out under the stars, campers prove they're modern-day pioneers.
