Trailblazers Sessions at Camp Wawbeek

Trailblazers is open to youth and teens (ages 7-18) and adults (ages 19-40) with a mild to moderate cognitive disability and no physical disability.

Campers enjoy sharing an active lifestyle with peers and benefit from the guidance of our supportive staff. One staff person is paired with three campers.

These sessions are packed with trail rides, fishing, canoeing, dances, crafts, playing sports, singing and field trips to attractions in nearby Wisconsin Dells. Most of all, campers enjoy discovering new activities, making new friends and sharing the company of friends and staff with similar interests. There is an experienced counselor for every three campers, so campers are always safe while they’re on the go.
