The Right Camp for Any Camper
Time off from caring for another – a respite – is the number one need of families with a loved one with disabilities in Wisconsin. To address that need, Easterseals Camp Wawbeek and the Wisconsin Elks/Easterseals Wisconsin Respite Camp (both located in Wisconsin Dells), offer well-deserved breaks for parents and caregivers while their loved ones enjoy innovative recreational opportunities in an accessible environment.
Our campers can enjoy camp year-round with programming at both Camp Wawbeek and Respite Camp. Which camp you choose is based on the level of care needed. For a small group setting, Camp Wawbeek is the best choice. For specific age sessions and programs available at Camp Wawbeek, please visit this webpage. If you are in need of more individualized care, Respite Camp is the best choice.
We are here to help families and individuals choose the right camp session, and are happy to arrange tours for new camp families. For more information about specific sessions or questions you may have, please contact us via e-mail or by phone at 608-237-1979. As members of the American Camp Association (ACA), Easterseals Wisconsin Camps are ACA accredited. Accreditation identifies programs that offer a solid foundation of health, safety, and program quality by complying with up to 300 standards. Easterseals Wisconsin Camps strive to meet all 300 standards each year, serving as proof of our accountability, credibility, and commitment to the campers, families, and staff.
